Though far from being pretty, Taipei offers a lot when it comes to photography. Beyond the countless snack stands and a range of foods that is hard to match, there are plenty of easily accessible mountain walks, temples and some quirky places to visit. Deep in the forest, on the route to the peak, there is a small temple featuring a set of statues. Some are hiding deep in the shadow while some are enjoying the warmth of the early summer sun.
